GROW relocates to RISE Car Park
3/25/2022
GROW Giesen Plant Shop is relocating to the RISE Car Park, Fidelity Bank’s five-story parking garage and retail development. Entrepreneur Heather Giesen’s GROW shop is currently located in the business incubator space at Cleveland Corner in the Douglas Design District. The move from that 500-square-foot location into 3,200-square-feet of retail space in the southwest corner of RISE will allow the business to dramatically expand its offerings and create a unique experience in downtown Wichita.
When it opens in the coming months, the new GROW will still sell succulents, cacti, tropical houseplants and related merchandise. It will also offer plant-themed cocktails and food from the in-store Botanic Bar, complete with an outdoor patio.
Plant education will also be available in GROW’s do-it-yourself space. Customers can learn about plant care and make their own plant creations with guidance from GROW’s expert staff. GROW will also offer the rental of spaces for private gatherings.

This unique concept fully aligns with the bank’s vision for RISE, which has been shaped by feedback from employees with the purpose of attracting and retaining top talent. In addition to enhancing the organization’s workplace culture, the RISE Car Park seeks to activate an area of downtown and make it a more vibrant destination. Concepts like GROW are critical to achieving that goal.
