Fidelity Bank Foundation Names New President

11/15/2024

The Fidelity Bank Foundation has announced the election of long-time Fidelity Bank employee Pam Regehr as its president. In her new role, Regehr will be responsible for carrying out the foundation’s funding priorities, ensuring the alignment of grant initiatives with the Bastian family’s wishes. Regehr has been the foundation’s corporate secretary for five years.

“Pam has been a respected member of the Fidelity family for almost three decades," said Clark Bastian, Fidelity Bank Board Chairman and former foundation president. “Her dedication to uphold our family’s legacy of philanthropy and her commitment to move our communities forward made her a perfect choice to step into this role. Our family is confident she will successfully helm the foundation my father and grandfather started in 1961.”

Regehr joined Fidelity Bank in 1995. Over the years, her responsibilities have expanded to include growing the bank’s community investment and volunteer engagement efforts. Today, she leads the bank’s corporate social responsibility team as a senior vice president, serving Fidelity’s four markets – Wichita, Kansas City, Oklahoma City and Tulsa. She will maintain this position alongside her role as president of the Fidelity Bank Foundation.

“The corporate social responsibility department exists because the Bastian family believes so deeply in giving back to the communities in which we serve,” said Regehr. “It is an immense honor to further the philanthropic work of this incredible family through both the Fidelity Bank Foundation and our corporate efforts.”

Earlier this year, Regehr began working with the foundation’s 4th Generation Grants Committee, a group comprised of fourth generation Bastian family members, proactively seeking funding opportunities in alignment with their interests and the foundation’s funding categories. One of the committee’s inaugural projects is a whole house build in partnership with Habitat for Humanity, which will be completed in the first quarter of 2025.

Regehr’s election was confirmed during the October 24 foundation board meeting.
